MBA – Presentations, coursework, Dissertation, or In-company project

Introduction

A master in business administration is about learning business to improve sales and marketing. This includes strategic management, project management, accounting and presentation, coursework, and a dissertation to achieve the MBA qualification in the UK.

Presentation

The main points to consider when taking notes while preparing a presentation are that they should be precise, focused on the issue, completed within the time limit, accurately referenced, and have appropriate grammar. The group presentation is mainly limited to 20 to 25 minutes, followed by a questioning round.

Coursework: The difference in individual essays and individual report

A student is asked to complete an individual essay or individual report as per the guidelines. A personal essay is recommended to be written in a paragraphic format. In both, the format should be given in a font size of 12 points, an aerial theme font, and double spacing. A report can be written as a list of bullet points.

Group report

Group reports are the easiest part of the coursework because they can be completed in teams. The students can contribute by distributing tasks. The main style of formatting remains the same as in an individual report.

I believe “postgraduate degrees are university or college-based initiations to judge the patience and skills of a student to handle the pressure; they demand more efforts stage by stage and shape a student to compete in an industry-based situation.”

Dissertation or In company project: Strategies

Basic learning and understanding theories

The objective is to figure out the importance of theory in textbooks and the probability of a contextual theory being included in the main task to achieve a higher result. I prefer to say ‘alert minds, in the beginning, are in a better position to confidently complete a final task’ (Author: Deepak Arya). Thus, making records of key theories will provide usability for the final task.

Research method

In the guidelines, a student can use the primary research method and the secondary method. A primary research method is a questionnaire prepared to get an opinion on a relative issue; it can be asked through social media in a particular group or through emails. In comparison, secondary research is mostly about personal opinions and topics used with accurate references in a given dissertation. In my suggestion, using either research method, complete a task without plagiarism to avoid deductions in percentage. Using the latest research from news blogs, popular articles, and the latest publications and referencing the work is a must in the dissertation.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is about original work, and if there is classified theory used in the dissertation, then it should be referenced accurately.

Data

Other than books and online publications I can recommend stock market data because it keeps updating every working day. For example, NASDAQ, LSE, NSE, and BSE
